Free Standing Side Cars
For users who already own the 2448 support from API, SCS offers free-standing side cars to flank the API 2448 for additional rack spaces. Sidecars are available with twenty (20RU) rack unit spaces. Sidecars are priced and sold individually.

One Producer Desk
Choose one (1) producer desk with eight (8RU) desktop rack spaces and twelve (12RU) base rack spaces for a total of twenty (20RU) rack unit spaces.

Two Producer Desks
Choose two (2) Producer Desks with sixteen (16RU) desktop rack spaces and twenty-four (24RU) base rack spaces for a total of forty (40RU) rack unit spaces.

Optional Rear Rack Rails
API 2448 Studio Desks and Sidecars are available with optional rear racks rails to provide space for rack mounting the console’s power supply. Studio Desks with two Producer Desks will come with rear rack rails on one side.

Meter Bridge Shelf
API 2448 Studio Desks feature a built-in continuous meter bridge shelf with a laminate desktop for near-field speakers.
Cabling and Access
The rack backs are enclosed by a removable vented back panels. Rear cable troughs allow easy access for cabling and snakes.
Graphite Laminate Desktops
The desktops are covered with Graphite Nebula Laminate to protect the all-wood construction and provide a smooth writing surface.
